Annual Barn Sale Aids Getting Kids into the Saddle!

The annual barn sale is taking place again at Coffey Creek Farm to help keep kids in the saddle.  A popular event for many, this year the sale will takes place on Saturday, October 13.

Be prepared for bargains galore!  Items offered for sale will be antiques, the ever popular Hatley clothing seconds, plants and garden items, vintage and designer clothing, toys and much more.  Proceeds this year will go to Just4kics. Just4kics (kids in community sports) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to helping families and their children overcome the financial hurdles which would otherwise not allow their children to play a sport or recreational activity.

This charity pays for kids’ riding lessons in the Caledon area.  Kids and animals are just meant to go together.  The confidence gained with accomplishment spills over into academic and social achievement.  In learning to love and care for horses, young riders are also learning responsibility, self-confidence, patience, trust and respect.

Bargain hunters should note Saturday, October 13th  from 9:00 to 3:00 on their calendars!  The location is Coffey Creek Farm, 17886 the Gore Road, in Caledon East.
